PROVON Antibacterial Foam Handwash, Plum Fragrance, 1200 mL Handwash Refill for PROVON LTX-12 Touch-Free Dispenser (Pack of 2) – 1946-02 Description
Color:Plum The PROVON 1946-02 Antibacterial Plum foam hand wash, 1200 mL LTX-12 refill, helps remove unwanted dirt, residue, and bacteria from hands, contains triclosan, extract of plum, and skin conditioners, and comes in a sealed refill bottle for PROVON LTX-12 dispensers (sold separately). The 0.3% triclosan helps reduce the number of germs on hands. The skin conditioners (including propylene glycol and polyquaternium-10) help keep skin moisturized. The hand wash is purple and has a plum fragrance. The recyclable PET (polyethylene terephthalate) bottle is clear to show the current fill level, and it comes with a fresh dispensing valve to help reduce potential germ exposure. A removable pump allows the bottle to be recycled. This hand wash, with a United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) certified 74 percent biobased content, qualifies as a USDA BioPreferred product for federal procurement preference. Liquids soaps come in a variety of forms, varying mostly by viscosity. Lotion soaps have a thicker consistency than liquid soaps. Hand washes are liquid soap, often foamed, intended for frequent use. Lotion soaps and foam soaps can stay on hands better than liquids or gels. Foaming soaps are sometimes called pre-lathered, and can reduce time spent lathering. Liquid soaps may also include skin conditioners to reduce the drying impact of frequent washing. Skin conditioners come in four categories: emollients (to lubricate), humectants (to moisturize), occlusive (to reduce moisture loss by forming a barrier on the skin), and miscellaneous (to enhance the appearance of dry or damaged skin). GOJO Industries manufactures hygiene products, including hand washing, hand sanitizing, and skin care formulas under the GOJO, PURELL, PROVON, MICRELL, and AQUELL brands. The company, founded in 1946, is headquartered in Akron, OH.
